PRIMP Salon is located in the Heart of Redwood city, California. Established in 2016 by two best friends whose passion and determination a love of the industry inspired them to open the doors of PRIMP to bring the highest level of service to their customers and to the community. The Salon offers various cutting, styling and coloring techniques including cuts specialized for textured, fine or challenging hair types. Color techniques specializing in gray coverage, balayage, color correction, vivid colors, and more. Primp Salon always strives to respect the environment with the use of natural products and to give back to the community.

“I've been seeing Kate for a few years for Brazilian Blowouts and I hot the jackpot when I found her. She does an amazing job customizing the treatment to my desire to keep volume and some wave while eating rid of frizz for months. She actually an educator for the treatments so I know I lucked out. She also gives great cuts and colored my grey without damaging my hair or m making it look like one solid color. I'm very happy with Kate and the salon is beautiful. I love that she has her own place now and parking is free and easy.”

The salon is upscale though very comfortable and inviting for ALL ages. HUGE plus for this older lady! There are NO age boundaries at PRIMP and everyone is treated like you're walking into their home.
Both owners, Kate and Amanda have personalities that generate their enthusiasm for their profession and for their clients and for their salon that I find very refreshing along with being extremely knowledgeable about "what's going to work and what's not going to". Being a former cosmetologist, Kate at PRIMP is exactly what I was looking for!”
